Before hitting the show floor, approximately 240 golfers hit the links Tuesday, Oct. 11 for the annual SupplySide West Golf Classic at The Revere Golf Club, sponsored by Pharmachem Laboratories.
Foursomes played under gorgeous blue skies on the Lexington and Concord courses, where they enjoyed plenty of camaraderie and a little friendly competition. At a post-play luncheon, golf-themed prizes were raffled and the following winners were awarded trophies.
"It was a beautiful day spent with great company. A job well done by everyone!" said Colin McIntyre, general manager, Pharmachem Laboratories.
On the Lexington course, a score of 57 garnered first place for the foursome of Joe Kramer, Indena; Greg Ris, Indena; John Seifert, VIRGO; and John Muehling, VIRGO. In second place, with a score of 60, Grant Bergstrom, The Wright Group; Scott Quick, The Wright Group; Rudy Brandon, The Wright Group; and Sam Wright, The Wright Group. David Barnes, Roxlor International; Garrett Trumble, Neways International Nutritional Products; Roger Dodd, Orcas International, Inc.; and David Daniel, Progressive Laboratories, took third place, with a final score of 61.
Closest to the Pin honors on Lexington went to Mitch Skop, Pharmachem Laboratories, Inc. The Longest Drive award went to Mark Gaeta, Bio-Botanica, Inc. On the women’s side Avrah Meyers, Pharmachem Laboratories, Inc., took Closest to the Pin, while Bonnie Emlaw, Jost Chemical Co., hit the Longest Drive.
On the Concord course, the winning foursome with a score of 56 was Ken Bender, Corn Products International; Blake Christensen, Nature’s Sunshine Products; Mat Larsen, Nature’s Sunshine Products; and John Musselman, Nu-Tek Salt LLC. In second place with a score of 57, were Paul Brady, Particle Dynamics International; Craig Cataldi, Summit Resource Group, Inc.; Michael Jeffers, Summit Resource Group, Inc.; and Pat Riordan, Summit Resource Group, Inc. The third place team was Bret Horace, Brenntag North America; Keith Clemens, Caravan Ingredients; Bill Gambel, Caravan Ingredients; and Lisa Zylkowski, Caravan Ingredients with a score of 59.
On the women’s side Erin Stone, Melaleuca, Inc., took Closest to the Pin, while Jennifer Kelsey, Melaleuca, Inc., hit the Longest Drive. On the men’s side, Jim Gauley, FruitSmart, Inc., was Closest to the Pin, while Pat Riordan, Summit Resource Group, Inc., hit the Longest Drive.
