DATABASE MANAGER

Seeking  database manager to support the needs of in-house marketing department. This position will be responsible for
assisting internal customers with data queries and identification of proper list segmentation as well as managing fulfillment of all lead generation and list rentals for external customers.

Successful candidate will possess the following skills:

A minimum of 3 years of experience utilizing MS Excel,
especially utilizing the excel formulas function

Experience working with relational database structures and
an in-depth understanding of the principles behind
relational database design.

Excellent organizational and analytical skills

Ability to quickly learn new database applications and query tools

Effective communication with internal customers to help
them identify requirements for proper list segmentation

Identify data discrepancies and data quality issues, and
work to ensure data consistency and integrity

Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently

Experience utilizing third party email service provider
software applications is helpful but not required

Job responsibilities include:

• Create and maintain lists for all email newsletters and email marketing campaigns. This position will utilize several
  different ASP's (application service providers) to prepare
  email lists for email marketing campaigns. This includes responsibility for routine list updates across multiple
  systems and management of opt-out lists and suppression
  files.
• Manage all aspects of lead generation fulfillment for
  sponsors of online marketing campaigns. Responsibilities
  include managing a fulfillment schedule for lead generation
  and ensuring quality control standards are met.
• Support all list rental orders by running data counts and preparing list orders for outside list brokerage firm.
• Support management team by providing reports and
  database counts

MARKETING MANAGER

Virgo Publishing has an exciting career opportunity for a highly
skilled and motivated Marketing Manager to join our creative and innovative team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3
years of marketing experience.

Description:

• You will have overall responsibility for developing and
  retaining online and print circulation as well as supporting
  the audience development goals of our events division.
• You will support company objectives for increasing web
  traffic, growing opt-in email lists, and increasing the overall audience for our industry leading publications, websites and events.
• You will manage controlled circulation & achieve audit
  objectives for our print products; develop and execute all promotion plan efforts including web-based, telemarketing, email and direct mail; manage and maintain subscriber files
  in coordination with our fulfillment bureau; develop & implement direct marketing campaigns; develop strategies
  & tactics for cross-media marketing; and report on key
  metrics & audience behaviors.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 3 years of marketing experience. Direct Marketing experience or online marketing experience a plus. Excellent written
and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal and organizational skills are essential.
