EndoNurse, a leading print, online and email resource for endoscopy nurses, implemented changes in an effort to streamline and simplify access to premium content.
“The modifications we’ve made to our site will enhance the user experience. As a brand, it’s our responsibility ensure that EndoNurse continues to deliver what our audience expects from us.” said Bill Eikost, publisher of EndoNurse.
"The new site makes it easier to find reports, galleries, blogs, and other premium content," said EndoNurse editor, Michelle Beaver. "We know endoscopy professionals are busy, which is why we want to make it as easy as possible for them to find the information they need."
The premium content, along with the latest news, is now framed in the center of the page, in EndoNurse’s rotating “carousel.” This is the most prominent editorial area of the website.
The premium content includes:
-Reports (examine specific major issues affecting the industry; delivered as free downloadable PDFs)
-Galleries (Slide Shows and Image Galleries allow the user to get quick information of the major issues and trends)
-Content Library (archived content to answer the most pressing questions)
“With some tremendous growth in traffic and user engagement during 2011, the EndoNurse website has become a key destination for research, regulations and guidelines, and other industry-specific data for the growing audience of professionals in endoscopy,” said VIRGO’s CEO, John Siefert. “Our new web design makes it even easier for our audience to traverse the site, and find what they are looking for with fewer clicks.”
EndoNurse also added a bottom navigation bar that gives the user another easy way to access premium content. This bar includes links to EndoNurse RSS feed, Facebook and Twitter.
