    Writer’s Guidelines

PHONE+ does accept contributed articles from time to time. Articles from analysts and consultants are preferred, but occasionally, PHONE+ will publish an article submitted by a vendor. Here are the submission guidelines:

• Please send pitches that include the topic, points that will be covered in the article,  and the reason why this article is relevant to PHONE+ readers.
• Please also include a biography of the author and why this expert should be given the byline.
• While we prefer original pitches, we will consider completed manuscripts that have not been submitted or published elsewhere.
• Pitches should be directed to Khali Henderson, khenderson@vpico.com.

Pitches will be reviewed and accepted or denied at the sole discretion of the editorial staff. Your pitch may not be accepted as a byline, but as the basis for a staff-reported article. If it is accepted as a byline, the editor will provide you with deadlines for submitting the final manuscript.

Manuscripts should be submitted:

• in an MS Word document
• with the author’s brief bio and email address at the end.
• with the author’s photo as a jpeg file 300 dpi
• with charts, graphs, photos or screenshots that illustrate important points (camera-ready art must be 300dpi, but we can recreate charts from data)
• without promotional copy for the author’s company
• as original articles that have not been published elsewhere
• with a signed publishing agreement as provided by Virgo Publishing
